What is New Beginnings Scholarship Fund?
New Beginnings Scholarship Fund is a nonprofit organization and scholarship fund for youth impacted by homelessness in San Diego.
Youth homelessness is is devastaing phenomenon. Right now, there are over 20,000 youth impacted by homelessness in San diego alone.
That’s 20,000 children unsure of what their day to day will look like — at risk for continuing the cycle of poverty.
At New Beginnings Fund, we focus on prevention through education.
We offer motivated, dedicated students better acces to continuing education so they can build a future that is BRIGHT and THRIVING.
We offer them support through Scholarships and Community throughout their educational journey.

$2500 scholarships for continuing education
Free scholarship application workshops
Life changing friendship and community for students through the Be a Friend program
Essential supports like school supplies, transportation passes, and mentorship
