We are thrilled to be supported by The Thursday Club’s fundraising this year!! Support scholarships for high school students experiencing housing insecurity by shopping the Rummage Sale March 8 & 9!
Sneakers for Students RAFFLE
We are partnering with San Diego County Office of Education to provide sneakers for youth experiencing homelessness through a number of youth serving agencies! You do not need to be an event attendee to donate! All donors will be entered into a raffle! Donations must be received by Thursday, March 6th to qualify for the raffle. Please contact us if you would like to participate!

RTFH Point-in-Time Count
VOLUNTEERS - Join a team of over 1,700 volunteers to help conduct the local annual homeless census that will help inform and bring necessary homeless resources to San Diego County!
FAFSA Workshop
STUDENTS - Join New Beginnings for a FREE financial aid workshop including hands-on FAFSA/CADAA assistance IN PERSON in National City or at another location in San Diego County!

STUDENTS - Join San Diego Community College District live on Zoom to learn more about the benefits of the San Diego Promise program, including up to two years of paid enrollment and student health fees!
Christmas on the Block

Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway!
Need a turkey for Thanksgiving? San Ysidro Health is proud to partner with Community Wraparound, an organization dedicated to gang prevention, building resilience, and creating brighter futures for youth and families across San Diego County. Join them on Saturday, November 23rd for their annual Turkey Giveaway & Resource Fair featuring resources, guest speakers, family fun, and the goal of gifting 1,000 turkeys to families!!
Holiday Sip & Shop
Join us as we kick-off a new season of fundraising in preparation for our second scholarship award cycle! We are thrilled to have been selected as one of The Thursday Club Juniors’ beneficiaries this year so come sip, shop and get into the holiday spirit while supporting continuing education for youth impacted by homelessness in San Diego! This year’s beneficiaries include the New Beginnings Scholarship Fund, Emilio Nares Foundation, Promises 2 Kids, and The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance.
Voices of Our City Choir Concert
Join us at this amazing event featuring the incredible Voices of Our City Choir! Voices of Our City amplifies the voices of people impacted by homelessness through music and the arts and offers renewed hope, personal empowerment, and the life skills needed to achieve their goals 🌟 Your heart and soul are sure to be moved at this powerful event!
